A fabulous location, this was a great base to explore the area. What worked well: the kitchen is very well equipped, there is a downstairs bedroom and shower which felt self contained, the bathroom with its huge skylight was lovely. There was a mix-up with the bedding which Jan sorted quickly. Things that we would have appreciated: An extra set of keys; wifi; allowing payment through Bookabach - paying from overseas was convoluted and we had to pay Jan’s bank fees ($50).
The location was fantastic and was perfect for our family. The leak in the window didn't seem to have been fixed though and I was disappointed that the fridge and bathrooms were not overly clean. There is an ant issue in the kitchen too, even though we didn't leave food out. It would be great if the heated towel rail and all light bulbs worked. We opted to pay for Cleaning so hopefully this was done to a higher standard for the next person than we experienced.
This is a very disappointing review. I had explained the water leak to the guest and had arranged for a repair man to come. He had attended and checked the leak but didn't wish to disturb the guests whilst they were staying. It is now repaired. I consider that the fridge and bathrooms were clean but it was a pity that the guests did not put the rubbish out in time for collection. A neighbour had to bring it back in.Heated towel rail just needed the reset button pushed.
