What a great spot with no interrupted views from the deck or lounge of the surrounding hills and water. A real kiwi bach with family history. Thanks for letting us stay.
I here the booking company has changed hands is that why it was double booked and I was left with nowhere to stay two young kids and 9 pm. I will never book with you again. My refund had better be in my bank pronto
We were very impressed with the Bach. It had a new kitchen area and the rest of the house was very tidy. The house was airy and sunny, no dampness, with a lovely fire that kept us toasty in the cooler evenings. We were surprised how well equipped it was, with everything you could possible need. The position was great with amazing views of the bay. We enjoyed our stay so much that I would like to retire there, however, I think it may be difficult to procure a house in such a lovely and popular bay
only there for two days but will be back. right on the waters edge. lovely little batch with a boat if you are that way inclined. Fenced garden great for pets, the dog loved all the new smells. perfect base to go exploring the sounds. left the husband at the batch and went shopping in Blenheim, DVDs and a wood burner and no nagging wife, he was a happy man. well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. reluctant to write a good review as dont want too many people to know about it will defiantly be back,
The bach is simple and cosy. It is situated very beautiful with a beautiful view of the bay. It's very quiet and at night you can see thousands of stars if you take a few steps outside. We enjoyed rowing with the boat to just outside the bay and encountered some seals and a lot of shags and other birds. Summing up, we highly recommend it.
