Great location that was quiet and private and easy driving distance into Havelock for supplies and restaurants. The view off the deck is lovely, and it was a relaxing place to stay. The property is clean and tidy, and could be very charming if the variety of broken / worn out furniture and general clutter was sorted through and removed.
Location location - superb and access to kayak and dinghy a real bonus and a generous sense of being looked after with all of the facilities provided. The deck to die for and a view unimpeded. For the price I would expect linen provided and not to have to clean, but that niggle offset by location!
I'd definitely recommend staying at this bach! It has that classic Kiwi bach feel but still has everything you'd need for a vacation. Beautifully quite location , close enough to town go to a pub... and drink responsibly, the waterfront is 10 meters from the end of the drive, big deck with covered couches, a lime tree for gin and tonics, they even have a Playstation 1 with Jonah Lomu rugby (to be honest, I think I rolled a tear when I saw this one). Do your self a favour and try it out.
Really enjoyed our 4 day stay. Had a play with Kayaks & hubby took his outboard for the Dinghy & had a good look around. Picked rock oysters & mussels from our beach. Swimming was great but you did need shoes as a protectant against the rock oysters but great anyway. Stunning weather & practically lived on the deck. Thank you for the awesome new glass deck rails, they are super. Gorgeous little families of California quail.
