  • A beautiful spot, with private wharf access. This house is only about 200 metres from the wharf.
  • A family favourite, this house is back to basics, no TV, but a pool table, and lots of room.
  • Stunning views, surrounded by ancient camelias, rhododendrons, and native trees.

Older style original farmhouse.

The hot water is gas, and a wetback fire for the main shower.( The firewood is supplied).

The power is generated, the generator is run twice a day, in the morning, then in the evening for about 3 hours, for lighting and the washing machine.

There is no power during the night, so torches, lanterns, are needed.

We have 1700 acres for you to roam! We are a working farm, and are happy for anyone to join in with activities.

We have 12 miles of coastline, which has some great spots for surfcasting.

We have a dinghy available for cod fishing close by.

There is a walking track which does a circuit of the farm, with magnificent views right to the open sea.

We have recently been classed as being a protected landscape, because of the natural beauty of the waterways.

Check it out for yourself!!

Mailboat fares available for smaller groups travelling on a Tuesday or Thursday (please pre book) $40 per person.

Please talk to us about transport for larger groups.

Fishing trips may be available (seasonal)

Special conditions: We are a working farm, you may have sheep wandering around the house from time to time! The generator hours are as set, the generator is run for our house also. It is run for approx. 2 hours in the morning, and 2+ hours at night. It doesn't affect cooking facilities as they are gas. Please bring torches, as the power isn't run during the night. We prefer you do not use candles. If using your own boat, please give us a contact phone number, in case of bad weather.

  • The property is huge

The property is huge. It has a vast array of native bush and we were free to explore wherever we wanted. This was our second visit. There were 21 of us altogether so we rented both houses. We all had a marvelous time and we will certainly be going back

  • Location was great

Location was great. Great fishing and very safe swimming. Lifejackets supplied. The kids enjoyed the friendly goat, ewe, and her lamb wandering around. The farm is VERY peacefull and very big. There were plants that I have never seen before. This is a marvelous location with mavelous hosts. And I want to recommend Del from - Havelockwatertaxis too.
