Many beautiful walks in the area and you can walk around the beach to the campground, shop and deep water wharf.

Nearby attractions are the world class Matakohe Kauri Museum, Piroa waterfall with its swimming pools and the Waipu Caves.

stayed for a week and will definitely be back again, the bach was very clean and tidy and had everything that we needed, And if your into flounder fishing I would definitely suggest you take a floundering spear as it's a lot of fun.

A gloriously peaceful spot, we had the beach to ourselves a lot of the time. The house is in an ideal location and every aspect capitalises on the stunning view. We enjoyed Pahi and Paparoa for the peaceful walks, relaxing friendly vibe, and the fishing. Thankyou Peggy!
