The bach was veru clean and spacious and had mountains of firewood to keep us warm at night. The kitchen is well fitted out to cook for yourself and a there is a large fridge to store all your provisions. The bellbirds and tuis around the bach were a real treat. Overall a very relaxing three nights and a great spot to explore the surrounding coast.
We left Wellington, keen to remove ourselves from screens and work and what a treat we found. Located about 5 minutes drive from Porangahau, we loved our little cottage nestled amongst the beautiful trees and birdlife. The fire was going when we arrived, and our son loved keeping it going - providing a cosy atmosphere in a cottage taking us back to familiar Kiwi surroundings. Robert and Jean were so welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed many of the adventures they told us about. We will return!
