Very much enjoyed our stay at the Blackmore Cottage, loved the little touches like the bottle of wine, bread and milk, and the information about the cottage history. We are so used to living in modern open plan homes, it was a great experience to live the old way with all the different rooms, our 4 year old loved sleeping upstairs in the attic! Many thanks again!
Not great location by shipping area and huge oil tanks. busy road to walk to one or two quay eateries . Drive into Nelson. Unkept garden patio. After I called to tell owner we would be off at 9 am Strangely she complained that we vacated property early ?? Surely you can leave when you wish to ?
Guests can arrive and depart when they choose but if they wish to be met we need to know approximately what time they will arrive. This guest gave us a time but turned up 2 hours early with no warning - it took us 30 minutes to get into the cottage. Guests can leave whatever time they like but if they wish us to check they haven't left anything behind we need to know the night before. This guest left an hour early. We have donated items left behind by this guest to local charity shop.
