A lovely, cosy, totally refurbished, historic cottage. This made a lovely change from the much newer properties we'd stayed in before. Easy access into Nelson and the surrounding areas. The welcome basket and wine was a pleasant surprise.

location is good, however the garden is desperately in need of attention, and the place was very dusty (but NOT dirty). A light bulb fell out in the kitchen - hopefully all defective bulbs have now been replaced.

A beautiful restored historic cottage that is conveniently located within walking distance to the centre of Nelson. Also lots of cafes, local shops nearby. The arrival basket with cereals, bread, jams and wine was a treat and shows the dedication that Sue and Evan have to ensuring that your stay in the cottage is an amazing experience.
