I liked that there were a lot of toilets, and that there was a large kitchen for multiple people to work with. A great place for groups.

Probably not enough bathrooms and hot water for a large group. Doesn't have reception but not a bad thing! Just need to know beforehand

If you need a place to stay for a large group of people in this area, you will not get a better bang for your buck. Plenty of spacious bedrooms and living areas. 16 of us stayed over the weekend and was not feeling cramped at all. Will be back again with probably 30 friends and it will still not feel cramped. I thought the house might of been cold, but enough heat from the fireplace and the electric indoor radiators to keep it pleasant. Warning on the zero Vodafone reception in the area though!

  • Good location but very close to the train track

Good location but very close to the train track. Plenty of room for every one and heaps things to do in the lodge as well as close distance to the Mountain are most important to us. Not so great on a very cold winter, though. We had unfortunate power shortage/hot water shortage during our stay but well dealt with managers. Information about hot water supply inside the lodge is outdated as well. Dishes and cutlery could do with a clean up. Overall once you know what to expect it's great.Recomend

    Owner/manager responds:

Thanks Magdalena. All feedback is appreciated. We fixed the hot water issue due to the pipes freezing. Kitchen has been gone through thoroughly. Cheers
