We had such a great time at Okepuha - the shearer's quarters were perfect for a family - lovely finishing touches that made the quarters comfortable and cosy. The station itself is beautiful, lovely walks all over the farm, lots of animals for the kids to feed and play with too. Great beaches nearby, surf for the hubby, everyone was happy! We'd love to come back and will definitely recommend to others.
We were a group of 5 adults and 2 toddlers. The Shearers Quarters accommodated us easily with room to spare. Okepuha Station is on spring water and there is plenty of it. Better water than Mahia Beach. Be prepared for travelling on metal roads. The Shearers Quarters were nicely decorated with interesting information about the farm and the Mahia Peninsula. We had fabulous Easter weather so we had a great holiday.
