Wonderful wee spot in a secluded bay! The Bach had everything we could of needed and we spent a lovely few days there hiking, exploring the beach and playing scrabble! Can't wait to return!

The location is stunning, the beach is beautiful, its a great place to get away. Its not that far away if you live in Auckland and you want to get away from a busy lifestyle. Limited or no cell phone reception was also nice, good to disconnect. I loved the sound of all the native birds singing and the sound of the ocean hitting the beach, great way to fall asleep. The only negative point I have is the master bed is harder than concrete. Not a very good sleep for me. Ended up using the couch.

    Owner/manager responds:

Hi, I'm sorry that was your experience of the master bed. It is a firm latex mattress on sprung slats. A design Mobel bed. There are 4 other beds so I'm sorry you felt you had to choose the couch! Its good the sound of the waves lulled you to sleep!
