It really was hard to find fault with the cottage. It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped, with everything from games, magazines, DVD's even some GHD's in the bathroom cupboard! Such a relaxing place to have a break and very close to Old Town Cromwell and the lake. The heat pump was more than enough to keep as all warm on some very frosty Cromwell mornings. Looking forward to coming back again soon.
We loved this cottage, it was personally my favourite out of all 11 places we stayed on this holiday. It is beautifully renovated, had everything we could possibly need, plenty of beds and the kayaks were an added bonus (even though one was very difficult to steer!) Would have loved to have stayed here longer, one night was definitely not long enough.
The cottage is surprisingly spacious. It is simply but nicely decorated, and has a sunny and private seating area at the back. (A sun umbrella would improve things though). The location is great- walking distance to the old town for dinner, breakfast etc. Lovely front garden.
An extremely well presented character home, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Brilliant shower, one of the best we've experienced. We appreciated the great selection of interesting books - an easy read for a relaxing moment. The indoor/outdoor living arrangement at the rear of the cottage made for a pleasant environment to enjoy a few late afternoon wines. Would definitely consider another stay.
