A family home located on a beautiful, tree lined avenue: 10 min to the Herne Bay beaches, 15 min to the Viaduct and city central, 10 min to the cafes and restaurants in Ponsonby. Five min walk to the cafes, bars and restaurants of West Lynn Village (Richmond Road, Grey Lynn). Bus stops 140m away but we are close enough to taxi cheaply anywhere you want to go. A very cool, upmarket and central Auckland location.

The house is north facing so attracts all the sun; a functional family home that is only 12 years old. At 200m2 it is larger then most in the area. Well appointed with 2 separate living areas as well as an open plan kitchen/dining. This terraces down to a lounge that has 2 large french doors that completely open two sides of the lounge onto a paved and grassed area with outdoor table and chairs. The garden is private, sunny and green.

The master bedroom is like a suite in the trees. It has windows opening out on 3 sides that look out into mature trees. The entire second floor is the large bedroom, ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe. The ensuite features a single spa bath and shower.

The downstairs kids' lounge has a TV and DVD. The open plan kitchen adjoins the main lounge (with second TV) with its extensive french doors so offers outside access as well as a wood burner, heat/air conditioning pump and good quality stereo. The kitchen is very well appointed with a good sized fridge and dishwasher, filtered water faucet, gas stove and microwave.

Tasteful, functional and comfortable.

  • This location was truly a home away from home

    This location was truly a home away from home. Though slightly used as expected from a bach, it was spacious and well appointed. It had everything we needed, inclusive of the use their bikes and the provision of electrical adaptors for all our electronics. The outside seating was refreshing and it included a barbeque as well. As it was the holidays, there was quite a bit of noise from kids play (though expected) and construction banging from two houses down the road. In all a great location.
