Bach or holiday home | Blenheim | #30079
6 Karaka Street is a little cottage set at the end of a lane in the friendly community of North Rarangi. Plenty of parking and plenty of garden.
You can choose to sleep in the cottage or the funky little sleepout.
The cottage and gardens are a real chill out zone, Just the place to relax any time of the day.
Open plan living/dining with wood burner stove and tiled floors.
The modern bathroom is approached from the wrap around covered deck which has a unique corner 'turret'.
Best suited for one or two couples due to the configuration of this little cottage. As the cottage is a tiny place it is not really suitable for very young children and toddlers, especially in winter with the un-guarded wood burner fire.
Pets are welcome, provided they are well mannered and you are prepared to clean up after them. The property is fenced, but not totally pet proofed.
It's a short walk to the expansive Cloudy Bay where dogs can run forever. Monkey Bay - again a short walk - is Rarangi's special secret place, safe for swimming and fishing off the rocks.
Marlborough's favourite family beach of Whites Bay is a ten minute drive away or an hour's walk through the bush. this is a DOC area so no dogs allowed.
Five minutes up the road is the 18 hole Rarangi Links Golf Course.
A really lovely place for a simple break.
North Rarangi does have cellphone coverage, but is a weak signal with some suppliers.
We will make sure fresh coffee is available, and if the hens are performing, there will be some fresh eggs too.
Special conditions: "Pets allowed with prior approval." "Smoking allowed outside only."

Omgosh we loved this place. At the end of the section there were fruit trees and there was a apple tree (think they were gala apples) just amazing eating apples, took me back to my childhood were we would pick apples to eat each day. Shower, bed and warmth are the 3 most important things to me, this place had them all....outstanding. Thank you so much Jilly it was like paradise. Sorry for the late feedback.
