Kaiteriteri is the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park and boats leave from the beach heading North for drop-offs along the way including Anchorage, Torrent Bay and Awaroa. Take a short drive to Marahau for a walk in the park, or a kayak trip and collect cockles at low tide on the way home. Cycle the Great Taste Trail or head to the Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park for some recreational off-road biking. At the start of the Takaka Hill there’s a chilly swim in the source of the Riwaka river, and over the hill you can catch your dinner at the Anatoki Salmon Farm. Explore the region’s vineyards, potteries and artist’s studios or just chill out on golden sands of Breakers Bay (we think it’s the best beach in the world and it’s only a 3 minute stroll from the bach). Whether it’s a BBQ on the point overlooking Kaiteriteri beach or just relaxing under the olive tree reading, our family bach is wonderful place to unwind.

  • Fantastic location with great view of Kaiteriteri beach

Fantastic location with great view of Kaiteriteri beach. Good parking for cars and boat. Property was spacious and had everything that you needed and was very relaxing. All the bedding was clean & fresh and looked new which is a bonus as so many holiday homes lack in this area. Nice outdoor areas. We didn't want to leave :(

  • Park the car, you won't need it

Park the car, you won't need it. Everything you need is a short walk away - store, cafe, lookout at Kaka Pa point, and beaches. Be sure to check out Breakers Bay on the other side of the house - you'll likely have it all to yourself.
