Pukekura Lodge is a great place to stay, plenty of space and near so many good things in Westland. Best is their ecological understanding and commitment to a sustainable future, and to beautiful New Zealand's environment and nature. Be careful with the water supply as it's a rain fed tank!

  • We loved staying here away from the maddening crowds

We loved staying here away from the maddening crowds. Lovely family, pets and other animals and interesting plans for the future. The house has everything you could need and will be even better with their proposed upgrades. Very good value for money.

  • We were very happy here

We were very happy here. The home is spacious and well-equipped. The location is a long way from shops but we knew that and went prepared. While we wouldn't recommend this home to everyone, it is perfect for anyone who doesn't mind a goat tethered near the parking area and the owners living close by. (We had no problem with either of those things.) A family could enjoy several days here as the owners have prepared heaps of local information in a handy folder.
