Recently upgraded bathroom and kitchen adds to Far Pavilion's unique character. Hidden and secluded rustic cottage with spectacular views over the upper valley of the Waingawa river. Situated on the edge of its own block of native bush, this haven would be hard to beat for a romantic interlude.. Once moved in here, there seems no reason to venture out. Curtains can remain open as no privacy issues arise, and the views,- both night and day, are superb. Firelight from the Bronte enhances the ambience inside, after dark. A conventional oven with grill, a microwave, and fridge along with numerous other utensils, make self-catering easy. This is a well-appointed cottage with a mix of modern and old style furniture and fittings. It provides an interesting selection of reading material, games, and pastimes along with CD's and an excellent collection of movie DVD''s.. Many other features will surprise and delight. Very comfortable king-sized bed ensures a restful night. Quality linen and towels all included. A peaceful, private, and enjoyable time waits for your approval. It has been praised as a luxurious mountain retreat in many reviews. -
Special conditions: 1. Far Pavilion situated up 4WD track. If you need it, there's a 4WD saloon car which will be yours (exclusively & gratis) to shuttle up and down. A private parking lot at bottom of incline provides space for transfers back to your own vehicle for public road use. 2. Pets by arrangement. 3. Smoke outside cottage. . .

The view and privacy were the things we appreciated most about this property. It is comfortably and attractively furnished and well set up for a long weekend away. Our only minor problem was we found it a bit tricky to get the shower to a good temperature. We had a wonderful time away, thanks.
