One of Napier's finest homesteads tastefully restored throughout. Dating back from the 1890's.

The spacious house was designed by famous Art Deco architect Louis Hay with beautiful wood paneling, airy verandahs and stunning lead lights. Wake to the sound of native birds in the trees around you and the ocean waves below. Then enjoy your day within the relaxing ambience of this wonderful family home.

There are three bathrooms one being the master ensuite and plenty of living areas to sit back and relax in.

There are amazing views to the town and ocean below.

Extensive grounds make for a relaxing break and you are welcome to just chill either on the front lawn or around the swimming pool. You can take a dip to cool down after a big day sight seeing. Swimming towels are provided.

Napier's Art Deco centre is a short 10 minute stroll down the hill, where there are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. Taxi's are very cheap in Napier so it is cheap and easy to access all the close by wineries, restaurants, airport and bus station.

"As advertised, Rick's house is great. Hard to beat the opportunity, upon arrival, to sit and enjoy the garden/front lawn with the expansive view of the ocean."

  • The property was awesome

The property was awesome. The views out to the Bay and down to Cape Kidnappers were spectacular. The house itself contained everything we needed and the downstairs living area had great spaces. The lawn area was fantastic and is plenty big enough for a spot of cricket or football. The walk into town was pretty easy down hill. We were a group of mates but the house would be equally as good for a couple of families.
