Annette and Weston are very hospitable and welcoming hosts. The property is very clean and modern and we instantly relaxed with the beautiful natural surroundings. A great location to do the many walks, mountain bike rides and learn snippets of history in the area. Resting at home in the evening in the outdoor bath or around the fireplace with mountain views leaves you ready to start again the next day. Thank you so much for your help and hospitality ??
Location is awesome place is tidy and has a great view of the river..the only 2 things I hates was the power supply kept cutting off which was quite annoying plus couldn't help the bugs being annoying at night..regardless I would definitely go there again..loved it!!
The accomodation was clean, comfortable and in a magic location. The Whanganui river was literally at our doorstep, good fishing there and in local surrounds. There was an outdoor fire pit with wood supplied, where we had a very pleasant evening with friends. The view of the mountains in the distance, river in the foreground, calves roaming around, was so pretty. The only improvement I would suggest would be more cooking facilities- I understand that this is in the works soon to be completed.
