Lovely place and we enjoyed our stay here. We would love to stay in this place once again.
We just love this place, been coming to the top of the Coromandel since 1965 and to be able to stay on the Whitestar is just awesome. This farm is just the best as we can go off and get lost with our dog for hours or simply just stay in by the fire. This is our favourite part of N.Z. It’s why we keep coming back. We’ll be back very soon. M&K Marshall.
Very clean and tidy, and the house more than suited our needs. The fireplace was definitely a bonus on the cold winter nights, and we were grateful for the firewood supplied. I can't wait to go back in summer time and take our dog and dirt bikes, and go on a horse trek and bush walks.
I was blown away by the location of the lodge. The surrounding scenery was natural and beautiful. I wish I'd had booked a longer stay in order to explore more! The bach itself was lovely and cosy. It was warm long after dark. With such a great atmosphere it is perfect for a calm and relaxing stay away with close friends or family. Will definitely plan to go back in the future.
