Description

This sunny crib was built in the 1980s and is situated in the peaceful haven of Kelvin Heights, approx. 10 minutes drive from Frankton. There is two large double bedrooms on separate levels, with two single bedrooms upstairs. There are bathrooms on both levels. There is two living areas downstairs, one open plan with the Gallery kitchen. The house boasts views across to Queenstown and Ben Lomond, Cecil Peak and the Remarkables. Jardine Park at the rear of the property is a lovely reserve with a playground and croquet club. It is also the starting point for two walking tracks, one to Jacks Point, the other around the Kelvin Peninsula. This crib is a super spot for a family holiday or a quiet break away. The base of the Remarkables Ski Area is a short drive away, making this an ideal makeshift ski lodge.

We found the house quite underwhelming, with a couple of issues need addressing straight away: - Cuttlery needs updating straight away - shower upstairs has no pressure and doesn’t really work - Just too much clutter, which made the space look untidy On the other hand, Kelvin Heights peninsula is great. Just 20 minutes drive from the City, but great views of the City and surrounding mountains. ose to airport too

What can you say, its a magical setting was very peaceful and quite. Had access to explore the lovely park, tennis course at the back. Great place for biking to Jacks Point and Kelvin Heights Frankton track did 50kms. Very close to Kelvin Heights golf course where my son enjoyed playing. The House was comfortably furnished, clean and very cozy. The kitchen was very well equipped. The boys enjoyed the sky tv. We can't wait to go back again and stay for a longer stay would be perfect for skiing.

  • Wonderful location next to a park with playground

Wonderful location next to a park with playground. Good public bus connection to Queenstown if you have time to take it. Water taxi to Queenstown is also a convenient option.
