Cottage | Clutha District | #32522
Your peaceful, unhosted private accommodation awaits in the quaint Otago village of Toko Mouth.
Located just 1 hour from Dunedin, you'll discover a warm and inviting cottage after a country road driving experience through rural and forestry surrounds.
Situated on the historic Coombe Hay home block, you'll feel revitalized as you enjoy quality time with your family and friends. Together you can explore the natural Otago coastline, fossick in rock pools and along the beach, or try to name the amazing birds and wildlife that can be seen.
Toko Mouth village is a two minute walk and here you will find a playground, domain, tennis court, a hall which can be hired for functions and a byo bbq and bar area.
The Wangaloa and Toko golf clubs are nearby.
There are also some great fishing spots but you may have to spy on the locals to find the best spots.
"We all LOVED the house and want to keep coming back. It's an awesome location with a fantastic view of both farmland and the ocean. The house is lovely, with an awesome sunny deck. Toko Mouth has an incredible beach that is very walkable from the cottage."

A fabulous Bach for the summer, great views and 5 mins from the beach. Would happily accommodate a family with children. Was cold though as fire only heated a small area. A column heater and electric blanket would have made it far more comfortable.
Definitely the best place we've stayed out of the 10D/9N trip in NZ this time, we've enjoyed beautiful experiences for starring night and stunning sunrise, cycling alone the roads, watching sheep shearing and lovely dogs. The most important is that all people we met in the farm and in the village are so kind. Strongly recommanded.
