Slightly isolated, but still close to amenities. Huge bedrooms, lovely rustic, homely feel to the entire place. Having the woodburner made it feel warm and cosy, with the cold weather outside. Ample supplies of wood (and even more if you wanted to break out the axe!). Great stack of board games and books there for entertainment as well. Would have loved to have stayed much longer!
House was warm and had plenty of beds. Bedroom doors creaked so loudly you couldn’t open them when someone was sleeping, one bedroom door didn’t have a handle. The shower mixer rotated freely so it was impossible to set to a reasonable temperature. Couldn’t find some light switches and the one we could find in the kitchen was in a cupboard! Wifi was unusably slow. Double bed in one of the rooms had a mattress that sank in the middle.
All four adults and three children loved this bach! It is a beautiful bach...wonderfully decorated....very comfortable and stylish furniture....it could not have been nicer. We'd return in a heartbeat...and recommend to everyone.
