Escape to a peaceful hideaway, just a few minutes from Mangawhai
You are viewing one of Hidden Valley’s five chalets. They are tucked away in secluded settings amidst 40 acres of spectacular native bush.
Charming Twin Palms chalet is nestled in its own private space, with a picturesque outlook from every window. Fully self-contained, comfortable and cosy, the chalet has one bedroom and open-plan living that opens out to a large sundeck.
Hidden Valley is home to abundant birdlife and majestic specimens of NZ native trees – the Mighty Kauri, Totara, Puriri, Kahikatea, Manuka, Nikau and many more. Take a bush walk under their shady canopy or stroll in the sun enjoying the expansive view over trees and paddocks to the sparkling sea. Or pack a picnic, grab your book and adventure off to find a perfect spot in the pine woods.
Meander by day beside the stream to the gentle waterfall. Or go at night, when you could be treated to the magical sight of glow worms radiating their little luminescent lights.
You can fire up the bbq, take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or relax in the hot spa.

I wanted to stay at accomodation which was a little secluded tranquil but not too far from beaches and Main Street of Mangawhai was only a few minutes drive. The chalet had everything we needed clean tidy and cosy. I loved the spa and the woodlands outlook whilst in the spa and the option of large pool also. The trail to glow worms at night was and extra special treat also and the wild life is amzingly refreshing if your from the city like me. I loved feeling removed from fast paced city life
