This apartment is light and bright with a spacious floor plan which gives it a feeling of being at home. It is ideal if you are visiting for business, are from out of the area or overseas and want a private and comfortable base. Business rate available on enquiry.

Should you want to get out and about or exercise there is a walkway/cycle track across the road. Both directions take you along the waterfront. Turning right takes you to the wharf and Fishing Club, local reserve, boat ramp and the Heads; turning left takes you toward the middle of town, shopping centre, library and museum and beyond to the bridge at the entrance to Whakatane and the Hub shopping centre.

If you want to stay in there is a large Smart TV, or the view to look at. There is also the option of connecting your device to Fibre. The movie theatre is down the road and if you choose to go out for dinner it's a simple walk back to your WARU.

The bus stop is literally at your doorstep, so you have the option of a short 10 minute drive to Ohope Beach or catching the bus and walking back over the hill.

There are 5 local golf courses in the Eastern Bay of Plenty within a 30 min drive. Fishing, diving, kayaking and sightseeing information and tours are available from the Information centre which is within a 2 minute walk.

    The property is beautifully presented and located in a lovely quiet part of Whakatane overlooking the estuary, ocean and Whale Island. It is very close to a range of good restaurants and coffee shops.

  • The photos do not fully do this place justice

    The photos do not fully do this place justice. It is just 1 min from town by foot, but we always got our food to go so we could sit on the deck and look at the gorgeous Whakatane view. Right in the centre of things but also quiet and peaceful.
