Bach has a lovely setting and very peaceful. ensure you stock up on provisions prior to heading out of Coromandel. Everything is catered for and is suitable for families to couples. Some pretty walks a short drive away. Note there is wifi and a mobile signal.

  • Lovely holiday home

Lovely holiday home. Great location with breathtaking views. Roads are narrow and winding and partially gravel roads but not as bad as suspected. No problem for a non 4x4 family van. The only challenge for us was heating the house with only a wood stove, electric heating in the bathroom and just 1 electric heater in 1 of the bedrooms. We would have wished for 1 or 2 more electric heater since it always took us a while to get the house warm in the mornings and when we came back at night time.

    Owner/manager responds:

Appreciate feedback. Have since Installed wall heater in main bedroom + replacing wooden french doors with aluminium double glazed bifolds. Re Woodfire need load with large rounds of wood before going to bed turn damper down will keep the house warm for the night. Add small wood in morning slide damper fully open soon warms house. Repeat if out all day. I need to leave clearer instructions, we are used to driving it.
