  • The property was immaculate, well cared for and presented

The property was immaculate, well cared for and presented. The kitchen was well stocked down to a loaf of bread, bottle of milk and home baking, provided on arrival. Those little touches were much appreciated and enjoyed. The heat pumps in the bedroom and main room made the house cosy and warm, and homely, whilst it rained during our visit (which we did not mind). The gardens provided a fabulous setting, with surrounding countryside. Location was easy to find and close to town.

  • We chose the school house as a cosy, beautiful place to stay...

We chose the school house as a cosy, beautiful place to stay for a New Year's visit to Hobbiton. It was very peaceful, with a simply lovely natural setting. Finding delicious complimentary chocolate afghan biscuits on arrival set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The school house itself has been beautifully and lovingly renovated and decorated, We can't recommend a stay at the school house enough!
