We had a wonderful stay at Pigeonwood! It had a wonderful outlook and was well located within a short stroll of the beach. The house had lots of room with two lounge areas and multiple bedrooms. We stayed the first weekend of winter and got the fire burning and the whole house was wonderful and toasty warm. We also made use of the many board games they had for guests. It was well located to explore Leigh, Goat Island, Matakana and it was wonderful to have our dog able to stay with us.
We loved pigeonwood. The deck is in the trees where you can look at the views whilst watching the tuis and woodpigeons fly around. Short walk to mathesons bay which was great swimming no matter what the tide. House space was great for our extended family and there is heaps to do in the area so everyone was kept happy. We would definitely book in again.
