Poorly looked-after house. Pull-out bed was unsafe to use, there was a large hole right through, which owners did not mention during booking and assured it could sleep 2. Luckily one person was able to fit onto the couch. House is sparsely fitted with utensils. Unsafe in places. e.g paint flakes peeling off bathtub as you showered was a slip hazard, electric heater provided was falling apart was shock hazard. Felt the place was generally unclean, overall stay uncomfortable. Would NOT recommend.
Good location with lovely views. Overall our stay was comfortable warm and sunny however the pull out bed in the lounge was not fit for purpose and needs to be replaced. Lucky we only had 5 people staying and the singleton could sleep on the pull out bed from one of the bedrooms. The gardens needed weeding and lawns needed mowed. It looked untidy which was embarrassing for us as everyone knew where we were staying and everyone commented on this untidiness of gardens.
The only comment I would make, was that we booked for 7 people, were told that there were beds for 7 people, but there were only blankets for 4 (on 2 double beds). The pull out sofa and trundler bed had no blankets. We had to buy extra blankets, which was very disappointing. Apart from this there were no problems. It was nice having 2 bathrooms, the heating was sufficient. - Update - We should have contacted them to query bedding. Will do that next time. :)
