The cottage is close to the Great Taste Trail cycle way, a path that leads all the way from Richmond to Kaiteriteri. Follow the path all the way to the golden Kaiteriteri beach or travel a short distance to the award winning Jester House Cafe. Stroll to the local motor camp or into the village to enjoy alfresco dining at one of the many outstanding restaurants available at the wharf and its new wharf development.
A 5 minute drive will lead you to Kina Beach, Tasman- a location known by locals for its fishing and golf course.
The village of Mapua is centrally located, being only 15 minutes away from the two townships of Richmond and Motueka. Richmond leads on to the sunny city, Nelson. Explore the many shops throughout the city, go swimming in the Maitai Valley river and its popular water holes, visit the Centre of New Zealand or travel to the Nelson Lakes National Park.
Motueka Leads onto Marahau, Kaiteriteri and the Golden Bay district. Visit their golden beaches, Able Tasman National Park, Kahurangi National Park, or even venture as far as Farewell Spit and its sand dunes at the top of the south island.
Special conditions: $25 fee for 1 Night Stay. High Season rates 1st December - 15th May (includes public holidays & school holidays) - $150 per night. Off Season rates - May 16th - November 30th - $120 per night.

The location of Jasmin Cottage is fabulous. Walking distance to a local and great cafe. Fantastic proximity to the beach and incredibly private and so quiet. Even the detritus from a recent storm and the subsequent dead flora all around didn't detract too much from the amazing land and seascape
