This fantastic large holiday home is surrounding by native bush and has stunning views right across the valley. It is on a private lane so is quiet and peaceful and has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the beautiful township of Akaroa. The house is super spacious so is ideal for several families or friends to holiday together. A HUGE deck is perfect for summer with a large fire making it a great choice year round! It is just a short 5 minute bush walk through a forest reserve down into the township for a swim at Children's Bay, coffee or drinks at the pub and also to the skatepark, boat ramp, tennis courts, playground and mini golf for the kids and whole family to enjoy. Note - it is an easier walk down to town than back up, but we have found kids and adults alike will manage :)

Plenty of off street parking for cars and even a boat which can be hard to find in Akaroa! Also includes a double garage and basement storage space with internal staircase access into the house for all the toys.

A huge open plan living and kitchen area downstairs as well as a kids lounge/playroom in the kids bedroom upstairs means there is plenty of space for everyone to chill out and do their own thing, making this the perfect house for all to relax in!

What a dismal way to start the weekend - not having any details on how to get in, no contact details of the owner and spending TWO AND A HALF HOURS outside! Only saving grace from the 90 minute call to Customer Support was the kind and helpful Bradley who did his best - and he was in TEXAS! Only resort was to find a neighbour who knew any details, track down the cleaner and eventually get the lockbox code. Absolutely ridiculous. Apparently the owner has no care for neighbours so they weren't surprised for the lack of care and attention for any semblance of standards. The house itself is fine for what it says on the tin - average quality, plenty of space, great location and ideal for big groups for just a few days. Upstairs space is perfect. Some main areas were poorly cleaned, some furniture should be thrown out. Please be mindful of noise outside and respectful to neighbours - it's a beautifully quiet location surrounded by people who actually live there so move inside when things get

We used the house for a Book Club weekend and it was perfect for nine people. The beds are all comfortable and there’s plenty of hot water. It is spacious, comfortable and homely. We lit the fire without any trouble.
