Apartment | New Plymouth | #34442
Our property is quite new and we are endevouring to be as organic as possible. We have planted an orchard and our main crops are currently garlic and potatoes. We are happy to supply produce from the garden to all visitors when available including free range eggs and organic milk from Dollys down the road. Mahoetahi farm is located 5 min from Waitara, 10 minutes from New Plymouth, and 25 minutes from Mount Taranaki. The local sights I would highly recommend are Pukekura Park, Puke Ariki Museum, Len Lye Centre, Parititu Rock and Back Beach, Fitzroy Beach, Oakura Beach, actually all beaches are great. We are also lucky to have a river boundary available for picnics, sunsoaking and swimming. Animals on the farm include 3 cats Buddy, Pepper and Zeb who has just returned from University. Beef cattle, 8 hens, 1 very friendly dog Ricky and numerous horses. Two brood mares have just finsihed foaling. New additions are Coral and Dora. Very very cute. Please come and enjoy our hospitality. We are here if you need us but you can be as private as you wish also. Cheers Gayle and Greg

The Bach is really nice - a way better option than staying in a motel. I really enjoy the country setting but above all else the underfloor heating makes the place so comfortable on the stormy nights - Not that Taranaki has many of those.....
