Newly renovated upstairs apartment with large terrace. You will find two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds. Both bedrooms have beautiful views to the hills. The bathroom provides a shower and laundrette. The kitchen offers everything you need for preparing your own meals. We maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the apartment.
Children are very welcome, cot bed and high chair available.
The apartment building is gated and offers two car parks inside the grounds. The apartment key and remote for the external gate will be given to you on arrival. The apartment is private and safe (you can lock the main door to the terrace). There is a small FREE Gym for all residents of the apartment building. We provide our guests with self-help continental breakfast and on request we can accommodate special requirements, e.g. Paleo Muesli.
Interaction with Guests
We love to make an effort to meet our guests' needs. We live close to the apartment and are able to provide help as needed. We know Christchurch and surroundings well and are happy to give helpful tips for dining out or tourists' landmarks that suit our guests' preferences. We can provide discount vouchers for a number of tourist attractions like the gondola, Ferrymead Heritage Park, Antarctic Centre and much more, also for a number of restaurants and cafes.
So handy to everything. Ideally located in the heart of inner city Christchurch, guests will find a mixed use neighbourhood, with inner city residents, professional offices and plenty of cafes and restaurants close at hand.
The Purple Line bus connects the apartment directly with the airport. We also offer airport transfer on request. For all other bus connections, the bus interchange is in walking distance.

The location is approximately 1 mile from the CBD. We didn't have a car, so it was a bit of a walk for us, but we always felt safe getting around once we arrived via taxi, and the location is very good in such a spread-out city.. The apartment is on the top (3rd) floor, without a lift, so we developed some muscles getting our luggage up the exterior stairwell. Neither of these were an issue for us, but it might be good to note both things on your listing.
The apartment was very clean and well appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, it was great to find on our arrival good quality breakfast goodies, along with a nice bowl of fresh fruit, which was enough to last our 4 day stay.
The apartment was presented beautifully. Katrin was kind providing fruit, milk, and some other essentials, that just make your stay easier. Despite getting cooler (not quite cold) while we were in town the apartment was nice warm, even without the heater on. The location was great for my stay, and is walking distance to the centre of the city (about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace). It's not the best suburb, but it was quiet, and the people were friendly, even when walking back late.
