Freshly baked muffins and a bowl full of delicious tree ripened citrus awaited us... even when we arrived late due to tour delays. The house worked well for three couples (family) traveling together. And will be even better when Glenda finishes a few planned upgrades. The sun room is so inviting. The grounds are lovely. Wish we hadn't been so rushed so we could have enjoyed the local vineyards more. Wonderful rural setting yet close enough to town.
The cottage is located right among the vineyards and easy travel into Blenheim All very tidy and clean and generally well equipped. Would gave been helpful to have more serving or baking dishes, and utensils for a larger group like ours (6) Would also be good to have a door on the bedroom off the living area Lots of living space within the house and lovely garden room. A nice deck to enjoy the evening sun We loved the old garden which is well into being restored.
