A cosy, well-maintained property with a wonderful view of the lake, which was far enough from the city to feel refreshingly isolated but close enough to Rotorua to easily access everything the city and region has to offer. The bach is charming and very comfortable. We really appreciated the provisions left for us and the welcoming touch of a fire still burning in the hearth when we arrived. Highly recommended.

  • The house was definitely one of the highlights of the trip

The house was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The lake view was stunning and we took advantage of the kayaks to paddle out onto a crystal clear lake. On top of having tons of character, the house had everything there we needed and after some disappointing car troubles on the way down it was great to arrive to a roaring fire and some amazing baking. One of the nicest bachesI have stayed in - can't recommend highly enough.

This is a fantastic property, great views of the lake, it all starts on arival with a tasty slice and cake waiting for us on arrival with that all important cuppa. The fire was great for the frosty winter nights. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Cheers Geradline.

  • The location is amazing

The location is amazing. We loved being able to explore the surrounding area without being in town. Having kayaks available was a bonus. We were there in April and so the house was cool in the mornings. A great spot to visit.
