Coromandel Town is a unique historic village designated a heritage precinct. The location is central on the Coromandel Peninsula and the Twin Coast Discovery Route. Basecamp at the Village Green and explore the whole glorious peninsula on day-trips. Head up to Port Jackson for a day & walk the coastal track from Fletcher’s Bay. It’s just an hour’s drive over to the Whangapoua Forest with its many kauri trees & not much further to fabulous white-sand beaches on the east coast. Spend a day over at Whitianga, Mercury Bay, Hot Water Beach & the stunning Cathedral Cove & en-route on the 309 Road don’t miss the lovely short walk to Kauri Grove. Locally there is good swimming at Long Bay just 3km from Village Green & many attractions such as the popular Driving Creek Railway. Hook up with a local fishing charter & get yourself some snapper.

  • Well located with easy access to Coromandel town

    Well located with easy access to Coromandel town. It was great to be able to walk to cafes and shops etc. With small children though, we found the late night live music at the local pub a bit loud.
