Great location for a quick trip through Paeroa and all it's amazing antique stores. The Miners Cabin has a great retro vibe and The Refinery Cafe is ideal - amazing food and a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed our two night stay and would definitely stay again!
My 10 year old chose this cabin as a loft bed out rates a kitchen any day and although it's super cute and toasty warm in winter thanks to the two heaters, the inclusion of a microwave would have been awesome (from a Mum point of view) BUT I knew going in that there were no kitchen facilities and the owner made another mention of the fact before accepting our booking so I in no way hold this against the property, just saying a small microwave would make it perfect.
Definitely met our expectations and consistent with the feedback already posted on book a Bach. Really quirky, fun place to stay. Very clean, homely vintage vibe. Lighting similar to that of candlelight. A little cold in the evening so just make sure you pack your warm pj's if staying in the winter. But otherwise super fun! Also really great to have a cafe so close in the morning. Thanks!
