This is a charming bach set in a small group of other baches in a quiet location a short walk from the centre of Arthur's Pass village. The downstairs bed and the seating areas were all comfortable and the wifi was fast and easy to use. The large deck was a real bonus, providing morning sun but evening shade so it was perfect for us. The kitchen has a gas cook top, electric oven and everything we needed to cook all our meals while there. It is a great base for hiking in the national park.

We had three nights in this wonderful chalet and didn't want to leave. The property has been very tastefully modernised and offers everything you could want for a comfortable break while retaining all the charm of a traditional mountain holiday home. The house is extremely private and quiet and makes an ideal base for exploring Arthur's Pass National Park.

  • A lovely chalet, short walk to town

A lovely chalet, short walk to town. Very spacious and comfortable with a huge deck, kitchen set up with everything you need and comfortable beds. Shower water pressure seemed a bit low but that could be the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.
