Nestled amongst native bush giving privacy and a sense of connection with the elements. Uninterrupted view to the Sounds and the ebb and flow of water traffic to the song of our native birds. Beautifully appointed, great aspect, easy to navigate to and from, good parking, and good lighting.

Delightful cottage with a lot of very nice touches. Eggs, bread and treats greatly appreciated! My parents thoroughly enjoyed their stay here and had a very relaxing stay. The cottage has been finished to a high standard and the furnishings are also to the same standard. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Absolutely a wonderful cottage with an abundance of extras to make one's holiday special. It was hard to leave the beautiful setting with the large windows overlooking the Sound. We're in NZ for two months and this cottage is our favorite! We loved touring the different Sounds by boat and walking on the Queen Charlotte Track, but it was hard to leave the ever-changing view from our deck each day.

A lovely cottage by the sea! Fantastic views, very well appointed, with beach-style charm. A couples romantic getaway. When we arrived, the cottage was filled with treats and surprises. Bread, eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit and tomatoes and herbs from her garden. Fresh flowers everywhere.! The pantry was stocked with cereals, coffee, teas. The swimming pier looked great, but as we were there during Cyclone Gita, we didn’t have opportunity to use.Thank you Brenda for sharing this beautiful place
