Trout and salmon fishing awaits at your doorstep. (License is required). Rainbow trout and brown salmon are in the lake. River fishing is world class!
There is also a 9-hole golf course, tennis, small library and short (and long) walks along the lake and surrounding hills.
Around The Mountain Cycle Trail runs from Kingston to Walter Peak Station along the western shore of the lake.
Kingston is close enough to Queenstown to enable day trips, adventure activities, sight seeing and shopping, but is also separated from the hustle and bustle to ensure a restful holiday.
Ski-ing. The Remarkables are 30 mins away. Coronet Peak and Cardrona are also within the region.
Historic Arrowtown is a quaint village close to Queenstown. Enjoy the cafes and shops there, or some of the short (and long) walks from the township.
