Welcome to our home away from home. Our home is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids) or come with friends.
With uninterrupted views over Lake Wakatipu across to Cecil Peak and The Remarkables, you won't want to leave the relaxation of the spa after a fun day up at the snow or sightseeing.
An easy 5 minute drive into the town centre of Queenstown with wonderful pubs, cafes and nightlife. Or a 20 minute drive to beautiful historical Arrowtown.
Just a note about our beautiful antique bed, she's over 100 years old and grumbles a bit when in use, but is still steady on her feet!

Perfect for our young family. Quiet location. Stunning views of the mountains by day and the stars by night. The hot tub was a welcome relief after a day of exploring or skiing. Well equipped and a 30 minute stroll or short drive down the hill into town. We loved parking on the edge of town(free) and walking along the lake in. Great sleep quality. You can't go wrong.
We loved our stay at Michelle's. Close to town but not too close. View was absolutely breathtaking and an evening spa under the stars was so romantic. We actually got engaged while staying down at Michelle's so will always be a lovely memory for both of us and would love to stay there again . Highly recommend:)
The place was really nice inside and the deck and views were fantastic. The drive up there is steep, curving roads that are very tight. Hard to park. Cars everywhere. The walls are thin sounding. You can hear neighbors and can be very noisy. We could hear the kids next door inside their place talking at 5 am. Not fun! Did not enjoy having to drive through Queenstown most days to go places. Very crowded and lots of traffic. If going to Glenorcky, it was fine.
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately all roads in and around Queenstown are windy and steep, it is part of living in an alpine environment. Queenstown is working on their carparking issues in town. It is fortunate that we have a carpark allocated for our guests sole use while at our accommodation right next to the front gate. I am sorry that the neighbors children were noisy. If I was aware of this issue, I would have gently tried to address it.
