Farmstay | Central Hawke's Bay District | #37053
Our one hectare lifestyle property is in the country side just a short 4.5km drive from the township of Waipukurau in Central Hawkes Bay.
The unit is comfortably furnished and has a microwave, electric fry pan, slow cooker and barbecue. Breakfast and dinner can be provided for an additional cost. There is no television reception but there is a DVD player, TV and very good, free wifi.
We have two Burmese cats who are very friendly and inquisitive. There are also some hens and several sheep.
We are very close to the Tukituki River which is a very good trout fishery and there are many other rivers in the district providing excellent trout fishing. There is a local fishing guide with a shop in town - Dave Hern Fishing & Shooting Outfitters.
You can visit the local wineries at Pukeora Estate, Junction Wines and Lime Rock Wines or we are just a 35 minute drive to Hastings and the many wineries there.
If you enjoy golf there are 4 courses in the area. Cycling and walking are also options.
Linen is included and there is no charge for cleaning. We would appreciate that the unit is left tidy.

Well situated for a getaway. Very good set up neat and tidy and homely little cottage everything we needed was there. The surroundings Tranquilised me it is quiet and then in the background you hear sounds but different nice sounds like animal and nature sounds. Both my fiancé and I woke up the next morning refreshed and couldn't believe how rested out we where it was such a pleasant stay over and I will sure visit again.
Very modern accommodation reflecting the young age of the property. Best location on our short tour for a peaceful walk, without driving, through the nearby 400 year old forest. Highly recommend the scenic drive bypass back to SH2.
