Bach or holiday home | Kaipara Harbour | #37158
Less than 90 minutes drive from the Auckland CBD, Pahi is a slice of how New Zealand was when you were a kid.
The Kaipara Harbour is reknown for an abundance of fish / shelfish and lack of people. Boats can be launched from the boat ramp at Pahi at any tide, and there is a campground and children's playground as well as a wharf for rod fishing.
Our holiday home is less than 5 years old and has been built to maximise the hillside setting and outstanding views of the Kaipara Harbour.
Within a short driving distance of bush walks and The Kauri Museum at Matakohe and on the way to the Kai Iwi Lakes for those who want to venture further afield, this place offers a great base for activities on and around the Kaipara. Or just sit back and enjoy the tranquility.
Perfect for artists, poets and those of the louder persuasion, this place will not disappoint.

Absolutely fantastic property, if you are looking for some R&R with family and/or friends this is the place to come. Gorgeous deck for outdoor entertaining and the covered area meant even when it rained we could eat dinner outdoors. The facilities at this property are of a high standard, it certainly had everything we needed. We didn't get out fishing due to the weather but there were some great spots at the point to cast a line from. Thanks Sarah and Ian for sharing :)
Very nice, comfortable bach, with lovely views of the Kaipara and plenty of room. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. Our girls really enjoyed being able to pat the ponies next door. Very relaxing, we hope to be back.
