Cottage | Bethells Beach | #37374
A great location to spend a vacation for two adults and two children, or possibly three adults, in the beautiful Bethell's Valley, the cottage is only 30 minutes drive from the centre of Auckland. Surrounded by bush and wildlife, we are situated only 8 minutes drive away from Bethell's Beach, with Lake Wainamu and the sand dunes on the way. Listen to the bird life, meet the steer in the paddock. Relax in the spa, or swim in the pool during the warmer months.
For walkers tackling the Hillary Trail, this is a possible overnight stay. By arrangement, we would be happy to pick up walkers from Bethell's car park.
A good variety of local food places are just a 15 minute drive away in Kumeu - pizza, Indian, steak, cafes, and much more. Better yet, why not try my wife Nuttha's authentic Thai dinners - she is always happy to cook! (Have a romantic meal in the cottage)
Please be advised that there is no cellphone coverage and no wi-fi at the cottage - only the great outdoors.

Very nice and comfy accommodation, good heating, warm and hospitable owners! Location is handy to many attractions and easy accessible from Henderson. Thai dinner was absolutely delicious! For 50$ we got great variety of traditional dishes for the whole family, fresh and absolutely yam! We will certainly recommend the house to our friends! The spacious yard is green and full of pleasant surprises: fruit orchard, pond with ducks, farm animals, outdoor hot spa and gazebo.
We loved the house but would have enjoyed it even more if there would have been a verandah deck to step out on (from the lounge) onto the garden side. We are city dwellers and cherish any moment we can breath healthy fresh air and to be close to nature.
