The cabin is fantastic! It not only looks great but every detail has been so well thought out, from the lighting & the rugs for stargazing, to the log fire and sheepskins on the floor so you don't get cold feet getting out of bed :) We loved it. It is small but has all the room you need. The outside bath is brilliant too. Definitely stay here if you have the chance, we didn't want to leave!
This was a lovely spot but in my personal opinion not what it was advertised as. The cabin was clean and had all amenities. No views unless you leave. The bath only fits one person and there are two single lounge chairs. Not very romantic at all. Too much focus on up market fixtures and not enough done to make sure it is somewhere to snuggle and be cosy. I have stayed in nicer places that charged less so my main gripe is that it was not worth the price. Great location to access town and lake.
Many people have loved their stay at our cabin, so I am sad that your expectations were not met. The photos and descriptions on the Bookabach listing say that the views from the cabin are looking out to trees and that the view of/and access to the Lake is from the driveway entrance. Regarding the outdoor, stargazing bath. It is not wide enough for 2 people to fit side by side. There is room for 2 adults to enjoy a bath sitting/lying at opposite ends ie. facing each other.
