The neighbours were lovely and welcoming and the view was amazing, but the apartment itself was unclean and small. The back room has a very musty damp smell to it and had no windows at all which meant that it was pitch black. The kitchen was tiny. It did not come with a proper stove and oven, but with a miniature oven cooker which never fully heated up, and took 30mins + to get to an okay temperature. The driveway was so steep that we scraped the front of our car every time we went down it.
The property is very difficult to find and the access steep. The view out front is stunning but small outdoor space is wholly shared amongst renters and resident families. The build quality is poor sound transmits through the building, even when the local and friendly families are doing their best to stay quiet. The two bedroom layout rather than the 1 of the other rental in the block really cramps the tiny living space.Fittings are worn if fairly clean and the trickling shower was not usable
My intention is for all guests to really enjoy there stay in this amazing location *My guests get a welcome kit when they book with clear easy instructions, Including pictures and even a video link to find the place. *The unit is 69 Square meters (Twice the size of the average inner city auckland apartment). *Small beach location means not great water pressure but it is quite adaquite! *Its a unit, within a block of units. There maybe occasional noise, but certainly no more than expected.
