This was such an amazing spot! We feel so lucky to have had Paul and Ann Marie as our hosts. It was such a relief to be able to use the mooring and know our boat was safe (it was extremely windy one night) the house was cute and clean. Loved that we were able to use the kyacks and life jackets provided to explore as well.
Great stay place was perfect
We (my wife and I) stayed at Paul’s place for 5 days. It was a stunningly beautiful place which was well equipped for a relaxing stay. The bird life was amazing to watch and listen to (there were penguins under the house! So amazing), and everyday we headed out on Kaykaes supplied by Paul and went adventuring, even over to Kaikaura Island. We also went fishing (with the rods provided by Paul) and caught a lot of fish. At night time we enjoyed lying on the jetty watching the beautiful night stars. Paul was great at just leaving us to do our own thing, but if we did have a question or needed anything he was very warm and kind and always made sure we were set up with what we needed. A beautiful spot, friendly hosts, we would deffinitly love to go back and can’t recomend a stay here highly enough. Thankyou Pual for making our stay such a memorable time. We shall deffinitly be back!
