The house was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. With two young children the fully fenced aspect was really reassuring.

The house looked lovely on the website, and we found it even more so when we arrived there! It is spacious and has a warm and homely feel about it. . The layout is very practical, the bedrooms are well spaced in the house and the décor is most attractive with a variety of interesting items. Charmae Guest House has a great location near the river as well as being accessible to the Saturday market, which is a highlight. Book this place for your next stay in Whanganui – you will really love it!!!

  • A very cosy & quiet house with a lot of space

A very cosy & quiet house with a lot of space. There is a sunny front yard off the living room to sit outside. We walked to the city center through the park on the other side of the river which has some amazing playgrounds. A dairy is just around the corner. Highly recommended!
