The property is very simple and such places can be charming particularly when in a great location, but in such a fabulous place as Great Barrier the location of this bach is average. Despite a compendium to guide you there is no map for locating the bach. There are written instructions which are helpful but there is no street sign or number on the house both of which would be helpful. The gas fired fridge has extensive instructions but a crucial error in that the pilot light cannot be seen.
Location is in eye of the beholder? Technology/google map on this site sorts this question out for punters. Barrier is not gifted with suburbia hence not a lot of need for house numbers. There are less than 3 houses to choose from, photos usually do a good job of putting people in the right direction. Gas (newish) one is no different from any other: pilot light can be seen, with following instructions. Resolved via phone on 1st attempt. Perhaps have fridge on for future guests from now on.
