Property is quaint and cosy, was perfect for a get away for us! The only complaint I would have is the toilet is FREEZING cold and is is hard to see into the pots when cooking on the stove as the overhang is very low. But apart from that it was great!
The walk to the pools is 10 minutes but may take a few more minutes if you have kids. A lot of our feedback identifies the location as a positive because it is so quiet (other than birdsong) and the garden is so large. We have never had a complaint about bugs and spiders but acknowledge that Hamner has its fair share of insects due to its location, particularly in the summer.
