  • Great spot with easy access to both the inlet and beach

Great spot with easy access to both the inlet and beach. The Port Store is just a 5 minute walk away if you are after coffee, takeaways or an evening beer. Plenty of room for sleeping, with a separate downstairs area, and two great balconies; one for BBQ'ing and enjoying the view, the other a great sun room for afternoon relaxation. Access to three kayaks were a great +ve

  • A great place for the family

A great place for the family. Kayaks, dinghy, life jackets, boogie boards and barbecue all used. Good access to the ocean beach as well as the harbour, and wonderful to be able to observe the public children's play area from the deck. Having a deck facing the sun both mornings and afternoons was a bonus. Comfortable beds

  • Very bad musty smell in the downstairs area

Very bad musty smell in the downstairs area. On check out was informed that there had been a flood about a week earlier and every effort was made to dry the area but a bad smell remained. The Bar b Q needs a good clean.

  • The place is nice and comfy, excellent facilities and plenty of room

The place is nice and comfy, excellent facilities and plenty of room. It is located strategically in a very nice area, close to wharf, children playground, cafe and Ohope beach. They have a dinghy that we've used to explore the harbour while we could not go to the beach. Unfortunately it rained a lot before and during our stay so the place was a bit damp but we've enjoyed our stay and we'll probably go back again at some stage.
